Nike x Neymar Jr. Block Party

Turning an unannounced visit into a community moment, ROX United partnered with Nike to amplify Neymar Jr.’s surprise East LA takeover—anchored by a two-block Whittier Blvd. block party and mural unveiling by Brazilian street artist Eduardo Kobra. When Nike shared that the global icon would be in Los Angeles, we mobilized fast to maximize the moment through culturally resonant storytelling, top-tier Hispanic media relations, and real-time social amplification. Neymar arrived to sign the artwork, meet fans, and join kickabouts with youth from local leagues, bringing the LA soccer community together in a high-energy celebration. Partnering closely with Nike West Communications, we curated and hosted key Hispanic media and influencers—including ESPN Deportes, Univision, UniMás, Telemundo, La Opinión, and HOY—ensuring front-row access to the arrival and reveal, then extending momentum with post-event outreach and shareable assets via #NeymarLive. The result: 2,000+ superfans engaged on-site and 1M+ impressions generated from a single event in a single market.
